After my own experiences with design by accident, I remember a book I bought a couple of years ago at Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam. Can’t remember the name of the book, but it featured different stories where the design was changed by accident. My favorite story was that of the TVR Chiamera. Peter Wheeler’s dog took a bite of a Chiamera design model, right under one of the front indicators. Wheeler decided to keep the detail on the finished car and looking at it now, he was probably right.
